AB Voice Studio (located in Southeastern Wisconsin), can help a student at any age or level improve their singing in any style. Since 1992, Ami Bouterse has been teaching private voice and holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Music respectively from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and Carnegie Mellon University, and most recently earned a Master of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College. With this degree, Ami is completing a clinical fellowship and afterwards plans to expand her services to include working with clients that have vocal injuries or disorders after injury or medical incident. She was awarded Level III Certification in Somatic Voicework(TM), which focused on contemporary singing in belt and mix styles using the LoVetri method, at Shenandoah University. Ms. Bouterse is an Associate Professor of Music at University of Wisconsin - Parkside and a frequent solo performer. Evelyn Alumbreros, an accomplished singer and actress, brings a unique perspective to the studio having been performing professionally and artistically managed since the age of 8. Evelyn’s private voice teaching focus is students in Grades 1 - 12 who are new to voice lessons, and those who would like to coach audition material including both songs and monologues. Evelyn is currently a musical theatre major at Emerson College. She teaches in-person lessons during the late spring/summer and is also available for online lessons during the school year.
